Tell them that and ask to be excused. Maybe set a time to serve during an off time. I've done both and enjoyed my times serving. Very informative. This. Last one I was excused, but had to wait to see if they called me to sit on a grand jury. They didn't, but one of the names they called was of a gentleman that had to be 80 with dementia...scared me to think he would be sitting on a grand jury.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
