I didn't think carpenter bees would mess with cedar shingles. Too thin. I have a few bluebird houses made out of 5/8ths inch cedar and they havn't bored into them, yet.
We thought they were getting us at lake, but now think it was an aggressive woodpecker
Did an amazing amount of damage though
Woodpecker was going after carpenter bee larvae duh
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
