for deer/hog we usually run garmin Alpha and quick track, just in case a collar goes down. The garmin works well, but it will loose service if the dogs gets a good ways of and gets in a bottom. We usually have a guy with long distance truck antenna. We had a fella that had the 320 and later got shock collar. It worked ok but didnt seem to have the range for correction like the Alpha
