Exactly. I have 2 collars for mine and one just stopped working and is off for warranty replacement right now. Lukily this collar was less than a year old when it stopped powering on or charging. Said it would be about a 2 week turnaround so I will see how customer service is. Got it from steve snell at gun dog supply and they sent me my warranty info and copy of receipt the next day after I contacted them. The Garmin Alpha is a great unit and can do what you need. I think other than that you would have to buy two different units to do what you're wanting.
