At my stage in life, I would not hesitate to Initiate a PIT maneuver on somebody like that, even if it tore my vehicle up. I would just insist it was a pure accident, I would not explain anything to the police other than identifying myself and handing them documentation, and I would hire a lawyer to defend me. I've got nothing but time and good insurance. And what if the guy was trying to get to the emergency room?
