Went turkey hunting for the third time Saturday and got my second bird. Got set up around 3:30 pm, called in a hen and then a gobbler starts hammering off and comes right to me! I shot and he didn't even move after I hit him. great short hunt, killed him at 4:05.
I had a decoy set up where I thought they would come from but the hen and the Tom came from the opposite direction. After I killed him I sat him close to the decoy for a picture cause it was pretty, but i shot him in the opposite direction.
He weighed 21lbs and 1 ounce, 10 1/2 inch beard. Didn't measure his spurs
