The bream fishing on Guntersville is going to be early this year. Mary and I hit some of the holes we usually hit in May and caught 85 this afternoon. Most were smallish but the big ones should be moving in soon. I'm sad to report she striped me 50-35. I got off to a slow start and never could catch up. I got to within 7 or 8 once but no closer. It was like a football team that gets down in the 1st quarter and can't catch up. The boat traffic was unbelievable and floating eel grass made a few areas unfishable.
