I've had several 300's over the years, they are great machines with in my eyes only 2 design flaws.
#1. The front hub seals are junk and let water/mud in easily running the wheel bearings and brakes.
#2. The seat sits a lot lower than a 450 making your knees be at a direct right angle. 450 is much more comfortable. YEP - they were very tough on brake pads if you rode in water any at all.
