Why would you want an AR pistol? Just for cool factor? I'm not saying it wouldn't be a fun toy, and that's fine if that's what you want, but what practical purpose does it have? Advantages over an AR rifle?
I've never shot one, and I believe that the whole pistol vs SBR, etc. is complete bull crap. A person should be able to own whatever version of an AR they want, without restriction. I just don't understand the appeal to the AR pistol. It SEEMS that it wouldn't do anything as good as a rifle and only have a better round (556 vs 9mm or 40) than a regular handgun, yet not handle as well. All goes back to what you intend to do with a AR "pistol". As long as you don't use FB live while you are shooting it.... Feel free to make your own assumptions from there. It handles like a...AR "pistol". I smell what you're stepping in.
