This is simple. If it's a body, after it's removed just put a nice cross in the ground. They'll appreciate that and not kill you for disrespecting their dead family member Great idea. I would do this out of respect and because it is a nice gesture. I would inscribe "Vaya con Dios" (Go with God or God be with you) on it. Even if the hermanos never see it, you'll know you did a good thing. Good idea, I would definitely do this and be sure to add the quote to the cross.
