I have had hogs and deer in the same field just about ever time I sat on a field this year. I only had hogs run deer off 2 times this year and both times shortly after the hogs came out the deer returned. The main reason people say they run deer off is because as soon as a hog walks out they shoot the hog so the deer never have a chance to return to the field. I feel gun shoots pressure deer way more than a few hogs but to each his own.
