Never seen yearlings try this time of year - mainly cause they would be 15-18 months old.
Fawns (babies) on the other hand, absolutely. X2 My terminology might not be right, but I'm sure they were born in the summer. They looked to be about 50 -60 lbs. Yeah those are fawns. I killed a doe last week that didn't have a spotted fawn, but still had milk bags. In order for that to happen, she must have been nursing recently.
