I don't climb anymore but I normally went between 12 and 20.

I did get 53' once to hunt a specific deer in a thicket and as high as one could get in that old maple was where you had to be to see down in the 12-16' tall thicket. I sat that stand for three days and killed a 130" 8 I had jumped in there two weeks earlier. That stand was very scary in the wind. I don't suffer from motion sickness thank God but if I did, I'm sure I would have been sick during one of those sits.
