Gents - fwiw - I paid $850 for my '52 in this shape! And was damned happy to get it for that! If you want a very nice 99, and the 300 Savage is a great cartridge, and comes with dies, don't miss this one. You won't be disappointed! And I will share load data Thanks Oscar. I hate to get rid of it but my eyes don't see open sights as well as they once did. Have you looked at peeps? You can get a tang peep for that one. I have peeps on ALL mine. I can't see blades for $h!t anymore either! If you hang onto it, and want to try a couple rifles with peeps - both receiver mounted and tang pointed, let me know. I have some you are welcome to shoot
