I was bow-only for over 20 years. When time got short and I wanted to increase my odds for meat in the freezer, I grabbed the ML for 2 years. I ended up shooting a couple within bow range. Screw gunpowder this year. I decided to put my bow up because I was determined to get at least 2 deer this year. The first day I go out with my rifle, I had 4 big fat does around me all within 30 yards, 1 was at 5. I still shot one, but now I'm bringing the bow again. It just wasn't as fun or exciting.
