I didn't realize they were prolific enough seeders to be a problem for years and year. I don't have any in my fields at home but have dealt with it in the past. The best way to handle them would be to plant cereal grains only and treat the fields AS NEEDED at least annually with 2,4 D or even better with Grazon. If you use 2, 4 D it will likely take more than one application to gain control in a year.

You'd have to forego planting any broadleaf plants in the plots. Clover, etc....

I had planned to spray my plots with Grazon this year due to henbit in previous years but probably won't due to the late start with the drought. 2,4 D nor Grazon will kill grasses but either one will stunt them. No time for stunting this year.
