Nice. I would have shot him, but then it would only be the second deer I'd shot with an arrow. You have a couple of nice ones there on your photo bucket! Thank you! Most of my biggest deer come in bow season, it's just when I see them. We often have debates on this site about the best time to hunt, and most folks say "the rut", but for me it has always been October. It's incredible how many big mature bucks I see during bow season compared to January. But it might be the land I hunt too...it's really taylor-made for bowhunting.
