Leasing out of state is in my opinion one of the most exciting things you can do. In my neck of the woods (Marshall County) you might hunt all year long for the chance at 1-2 encounters with good bucks. On a good piece of Midwest property you might see 6-8 racked bucks in one sit.

To me I'd rather have 8-10 good hunting days up north where I'm consistently seeing horns versus an entire season in Alabama waiting on a couple of good encounters.

If I was looking at leasing particular states I'd pick Kentucky--reason being for at me at least I can leave my front door and be in a tree in 4 hours. But you can't go wrong with any state imo.
