The new mouthpieces have pieces of rubber that are glued or whatever to the inside. My son has one just like what I described. That's the only thing other than spit that I can think of that ole Speedy lost during that hit. That and his memory of the game Saturday. Speedy has taken some vicious hits from the Bama special teams in the last few years.

Btw, Gary wants Bama to lose so bad every time he calls a game he can't stand it. He's great with X's and O's but a tad bit on the bias side for me to stomach. I'm surprised they didn't have Johnny.
