Cool thanks for the replies guys....yeah I know I wish I had time to scout it to find a good white oak and I may just have to sacrifice a morning to scout honestly...it was an awesome spot before we cut it but didn't really have a choice Knowing no more than what you've said about the situation, I'd go climb a tree that would allow me the best view of the entire cutover the first morning. I'd try to note the specific trails deer were moving into/out of the cutover on and then plan to get setup on one of them for the afternoon/next morning.
