My Chippewa snake boots lasted for about 1 season of deer/turkey. The Chippewas did not hold up in briars and water, and they do not have very much traction. After that, I tried the Lacrosse mudlite which also fell apart after one season.

I am now onto the Danner Pronghorn. So far, they are the easiest to pull on/off, still waterproof, and lighter than any boots in my closet. Time will tell.
