It can also have a positive meaning as in"Man those ribs you grilled tonight were some count".Have heard it used in that context many times. That sir would be Ebonics.... Acctually he's right. Originally it was only used in the negative but our African American culture shortened it and uses it both ways and we adopted that from them.
