I use to run stihl everything, i tried echos, husky, husky has a so many different models it hard to keep up, like a 100 series might be home owner grade, 200 would be light Comercial use, unless bought a a big box store them its labeled as heavy duty, 300 series would be heavy Comercial use. To me the best stihl weed smacker is a 85r, the 90r replaced it and is the hybrid 4 stroke unit. I currently own one of those and it wont die but its heavy has good low end torque and mime has around 400hrs ln it i keep it as a back up. I currentyl run redmax weedeaters and love them, they're light super quite, very very little vibrations, the huskys use redmax stratos chraged motor on the actual Comercial units have for years and that why they bought redmax out, one.model uses a honda 4 stroke with a crankcase engine. The 90r is a heavyier them the redmax 3050s and has less power. The echo has.a wierd controls for me best thing they have going for them the speed feed head. Price wise in my area is echo is the highest priced the stihl is next then husky then redmax. I tried to get a discount on buying 4 new 90r weeedeaters from the dealer and that was a no go he said stihl never runs them on sale, and if he as a employee of the store he only got 10 dollars off the price wish is the same for ny region regardless of dealer. Redmax dealer was more flexible on price so i bought 2 new weed smackers and 2 new edgers
