I run cameras over rice bran and trophy rock August till bow season and by then have most, not all, of good bucks targeted. During season I will take camera in to a stand and pick it up next time I hunt there, no bait. Last 3 good bucks I killed I had on camera. Were top of my hit list and knew them when they showed up. Adds a lot to the experience, for me. That's a good use of cams as well, carry them hunting and check or pull the cam while hunting that spot. I just don't like to make unnecessary trips and stink the place up. Ditto for me.
