I'm curious, did he say what he was going to take you to jail for? The only traffic offense that is jailable in Alabama is DUI. Do you know what an officer in Alabama does to a person going 100 MPH, with no DL, no insurance, no tag and no identification who says his name is John Smith...............he writes John Smith a ticket(s) and hopes that is his real name, which of course, it isn't. That is all he is really able to do. We are way behind on our traffic safety laws.
Oh and by the way, you'll love Orange Beach, but you should have seen it 30 years ago. Very few, if any condos, just beach houses, a few restaurants, and the Flora-Bama.
