It sure is painful to see West VA leases close to $3 an acre when we are around $8 to $10 here.
2 things: 1. Some of that land is vertical most likely 2. WV has a really short gun season as I recall.
1. The vertical aspect might have an effect on prices but I doubt the short gun season has anything to do with it if you look at the other states with short gun seasons and their lease prices.....
