I've been growing squash since I was 4 years old.  One of two things. Either you're having blossom end rot, or they aren't getting pollinated. I believe it to be blossom rot because my cuc's are right beside the squash and they produce like crazy. I believe the problem is not enough lime so I'm gonna pull up the bad, add some lime to the soil and replant...3 or 4 plants. Calcium or not enough water when they need to take up calcium.
