Why are you fussing? This sounds like a typical post-1995 GM product. They let the unions, management, and the government run them into the ground and largely out of the country, and people act surprised that their quality has suffered? And you think ford is any better? The original post meant to informational. As for the fussing/bitching, you never complain?
