One of our employees Chevy Avalanche had the fuel pump to fail. It is inside the fuel tank under the rear seat on the driver side and the dealership requires the body to come off the frame to replace it. The cost was gonna be in the thousands. He took the seat out and cut the sheet metal directly above the access panel on the fuel tank, making a professional looking opening to get the pump out and a new one in. Then he cut a slightly oversize piece of sheet metal to cover and seal the opening after replacing the pump.


All he had to do was drop the tank
