I'm pretty sure the land I hunted this year is being given up. It's Westervelt land and its around 850 acres. There were 5 of us that hunted it this year and paid $2000 each if that tell you about what the lease cost. Plus we pitched in for seed to plant the 11 plots.

To get to the land go up hwy 5 in Brent about 1/2 mile and turn left on hwy 9. Drive 6 miles and you will get to Vernontown road. The property starts there on the right and continues up hwy 9. There are 5 gates and I know two are open right now.

Just letting you know incase it comes up for lease. I'm pretty sure it is because the guy that had it has taken all of his shooting houses off property and 3 of the 5 were not getting back in so I think he dropped it. Hope this helps some one.
