sometimes they wait to chamber a round until it`s time to shoot. who the hell does that? Dramatic effect. Sorta like seeing the feet sticking out behind the couch on an old episode of Barnaby Jones or Marcus Welby, M.D. "Oh heavens, Myrtle. Is he ... dead?"
