If the leupold rings w/ windage adjustable rear were the only options for scope mounting then I'd give my scoped rifles away and just use a 30-30 with iron sights.
Talley's have yet to let me down, unlike the leupolds. I'm not a fan of the rear adjustment Leupold mounts either but dual dovetails are solid.
