It's getting very scary now. My wife actually asked me to look for another side job and quit, but I told her these pieces of chit people aren't going to run me out. I just try not to put myself in a position to give them the upper hand and I am always watching my back. The bad part about my area is I am the only deputy and the nearest any backup is at least 30 mins away. 8 officers killed in the last 11 days is not acceptable. Something needs to change. Didn't see your post till after mine. I know the feeling brother. Hang in there. The fight we fight is worth it.
