I hate doing this but I'm giving up on beekeeping. Been doing it for 5 years and finally decided to throw in the towel. My queen (new this year) has been killed off or she swarmed and there are several queen cells getting ready to be released. The hive is full of bees so it must have happened recently. I installed this as a package this spring.
Included: everything you could possibly need for two hives except a newly laying queen. There should be a new one released any day. All equipment is 8 frame.
- Hive plus two supers(drawn comb and capped honey in main hive body). Inner cover and screened bottom board as listed in second pic
- 5 unused and newly put together cypress supers
- 1 new pine super
- 21 unused 6 1/4" yellow waxed standard frames
- Brand new screened bottom board, inner cover, top cover for a second hive
- Jacket with hood, hive tool, smoker, feeders, etc...
- Used once: Dadant two frame honey extractor
- Also not pictured but included: uncapping knife and new uncapping tub
I have no idea how to price this so I'm going to start at much less than 1/2 of what I have in it. $500 or trade for anything hunting related.
I really want these bees to make it so if someone only wants the bees and hive bodies please let me know. I just don't have the stomach for this anymore.
