If death entered the world with the fall, how does that fit in with the dinosaurs living and dying for millions of years before man was here to sin? God has left us with clues of how to unlock some of his miracles scattered around His universe. If we had just stood around waiting for death, we wouldn't have discovered the polio vaccine, penicillin, open heart surgery, and pretty much every other major discovery or innovation that makes us healthier and safer. We're just following God's breadcrumbs.
