That is true. 600 yards or less VELOCITY always beats BC> BUT your arguement is over mere inchs! 270 caliber 130 Berger 3200 fps drops 15 inchs at 400 yards. 140 gr berger at 3100 fps drops 16.5 inchs at 400 yards. AND 150gr berger at 3000 fps drops 18 inchs at 400 yards. All ballistic I posted are off Exball Ballistics Program. BAsicly a 130 drops 3 inchs less at 400 yards than a 150. BUT the 150 has 1834 ftlbs of knock down to the 130s 1688 ftlbs of knockdown. So does it really matter? NOT REALLY. 3 inchs flatter OR 150 ftlbs more knockdown DOESNOT REALLY MATTER THAT MUCH!!!!!
