I had a crazy hunt, I set up in my afternoon spot where me and a buddy had tried yesterday, he gobbled a bunch and got within 75 yds around 3:00, but never closed the distance. Today I set up where he strutted and gobbled yesterday, sat there from 2 till 4, and got to wanting to check another field, so I went down the road, but found nothing, on my way back I got busted by a hen in a field close to my spot, I was thinking I messed it all up, but as i slipped through the pines, I got to where I could see in another field, and there he was! I figured where he was headed and got there first! He came in at 40 yds and I let the Xtended Range eat!
