Whew man. I screwed the pooch today. We got down here today and had some issues with my buddy's truck he keeps down here. We get it fixed and walk into an area we haven't hunted on his place in past years, but knew there should be turkeys there. Long story short, we walked in on top of one gobbling his head off. He caught us in a bad spot and we had to let him walk past us. Moved quickly where I though I could kill him and he ended up circling around us and I swung and rushed a shot at 40 yards and missed him. Stupid rookie mistake, but I won't let it happen again.
