Not knowing what happened my first conclusion would be to say there is no loyalty to people anymore from corporations. More truth in this comment than anyone might believe, along with 257's about them (or any corp) being able to hire someone and pay less. Happens all the time. Terrible way to treat people. Worse is the "voluntary severance" of longtime employees and then offering for them to re-apply for "a" job but maybe not the job they had before. $@#*(@ management, lack of leadership and nothing but bottom-line pennies in mind instead of quality, loyalty and establishing trust with employees and the public.
