Ours is salaried. She makes $60/day. Sometimes it is for a couple of hours and the longest has been 6 hrs. Although I did pay her $100 for 4 hours on Christmas Eve morning because my wife had to work and my son and I wanted to go hunting. Our kids are older so she really doesn't have to do much; we hire her for the expectation that she will be the level-headed one that will call 911 if something goes awry.
