My first deer rifle was that same gun in a 270. Bought it used from a guy in 1975. Had see thru mounts and a 3x9 Bushnell scope. It sure was fun to shoot. Sold it when I was a freshman at Auburn to buy a bolt action. Wish I still had it.

My buddy bought the same gun in a carbine model in 30-06. That thing was a cannon.
