I've used a AR-10 300 blackout with a Dixie Arms suppressor with subsonic ammo and honestly I wasn't that impressed. It WAS quiet but not movie quiet. More like a subsonic 22. Now I've used a 22lr with a bolt action that was pellet rifle quiet. But with any suppressor if it's not subsonic round it's loud, suppressor or not.
At times my ambition far exceeds my talent.
