The timing of the call is what I question. I hate FSU, but that was the right call. Actually, I think it was supposed to be a qb keeper and he screwed up and threw it. I feel that you are correct. He just saw the open man and threw it, but the play was set up for a qb run and he would have walked in. That play has to haunt him at night.
