This is the proper definition of a "super group". Metallica, AC/DC, Alabama, etc are fantastic groups that have had unbelievable success but do not fit the proper definition of "Super Group". "Super Groups" are groups like Chickenfoot, Damn Yankees, Asia, The Highwaymen, Blind Faith, The Firm, The Traveling Wilburys and so on.

The only groups I can think of are Yes, the Traveling Wilburys, Damn Yankees and The Highway Men.

GO NOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
