id go with the samsung. I love the droid operating system, and hate the apple. But I know some people who are right opposite. I dont know if it has changed but apple tried to charge for everything. music,ring tone,wall papers, and made it so if they sent pics to other phones, the pic was super small. The apple dose have alot more as far as shells,cases,docking station, water proof speaker box to jam to while floating down the river, and stuff like that. Either way, get some insurance on the phone.
