Na, if it's a swamp chestnut you should hit it about perfectly on the 25th.
The live oak acorns are very scarce this year on my place in Baldwin Co, which is why I went ahead and planted plots yesterday. The water oaks produced pretty well, but they have already started dropping heavily
and certain red oaks have them.
Definitely an off year though. Hunting should be good.
