Well, there's your problem. I would not own a carb motor these days. EFI motors are much easier to tune.

Hull design has a lot to do with my efficiency, too. Get the Ally up on the pad running 5000 rpm, and the engine will sip fuel. Really put your foot into it, and you can hear the engine gulping it down.
