I tore a hamstring and a calf at a powerlifting meet 2 years ago. It took me about a year and a half to get back to my previous strength but I'm 52 and healing is a little slower now. Best rehab I found was dragging a weighted sled on a track ...
If you tore a hamstring, the skin outside of it will be all purple
