Cracker Barrel is one of the best chain restaurants around. No matter which one you go to, the food tastes the same, service is the same, etc...... It's all pretty good food and for a decent price. Not very many chain restaurants can say that. I was once a server for several restaurants in Destin, and believe me you DO NOT want to piss off the server or cook for a stupid reason. If it's legit, no problem. But if it's not, you best check your food before you eat it. If you known what I mean. I can say for sure that the cracker barrel in Greenville Al isn't that way. The service is consistent..consistently bad. Poorly managed and it seems that there is no rhyme or reason to what servers wait on what table. I have sat there many times for 5 to 10 minutes before being waited on. There aren't many other dining options or I'd never go back.
