The property that I have been managing for over 10 years for trophy deer has been sold. I am looking for some land to start up another trophy managed hunting club in the Montgomery County area. I would prefer at least 600 ac. & there will be a major supplemental feeding program put in place. Previous tract of land was 635 ac. and we were putting out over 6 tons of feed a year except during turkey season. We plan to harvest deer that are 4 1/2 + and the deer must be mounted or the individual will be fined $ 350. Doe harvest will be determined each year based on adult and fawn sittings from cameras and hunters observations. I have some guys that I know for sure want to be in the club if we can get some property & I would allow additional members if the tract of land will justify the members.
